For living they work in the fields or produce some goods by hand weaving.. bags or purses and stuff like that. Goods that they sell to the Thai vendors.
As always, the farther you are from the city, more simple and quiet the life is. After some initial shyness and surprise at seeing foreign people there in the forest, the people welcomed us warmly showing us their home and giving us some good fruit to eat.
