During the Holi Festival, on the streets you will be constantly stopped to to be totally painted with colored powders. At the end of the day you'll find yourself with face and clothes covered by many different colors... all beautiful and very bright.

Jaipur is also known as the "pink city". This because of the color of which are painted the walls of the old main neighborhood of the city. Also in the heart of the neighborhood and there is the city palace, the former headquarters of the sovereign of the city in the past.
