This sacred place for the Sikh religion is really admirable for its contribution to society, guaranteeing a service that is unrivaled. First, as described in the previous photo, there is a free shuttle service from the train station to here.

Once there, you have the chance to stay for free in the "accommodations" of the temple... or in the temple itself. Bathrooms and showers available for all the 24 hours. What you'll notice is the diversity' of treatment between foreigners and Indians. What you see is one of the "bedrooms" for Indian visitors. Simply lying on the ground outdoors all one on the other.

Foreign tourists instead have the chance to sleep in a lodging with even air conditioning (in 6 months in India, is the only time I had a room with AC)... Of course, the number of foreigners compared to the Indians present is totally disproportionate.. there are very few foreigners, so that every time they see you, there is a great enthusiasm. Secondly, the Indians are used to sleep on the floor with these temperatures... for the most of us would be something almost impossible. Last aspect, also because of security and avoid possible problems (such as stolen goods)... in fact there are two people to guard the front door of the rooms for foreigners.
