Shot taken within the walls of the Dalai Lama Temple. Some Buddhists were practicing to a particular religious procedure. A type of Buddhist prayer that I had never seen.

Before stood reciting a prayer or mantra, then they literally threw themselves on these wooden boards slipping through those towels.. often at the end of the board there was a bracelet for the prayer. It's like you throw yourself to your faith as an extreme gesture of devotion. They repeated this prayer for at least twenty minutes.
