Japanese believers

Nowadays the most of Japanese people are not very religious and they go to the temple for praying very few times during the year.. perhaps just once at the last day of the year. The most common religions are the Shinto and the Buddhism that are actually quite similar.

Nagashisoumen

During a festival in southern Japan, I saw an old Japanese summer tradition. It is a cold dish, called NAGASHISOUMEN, which in the past was often served in a particular way. Basically they cut long canes of Bamboo which are used as a slide.

Otaku: Idols

Another "branch" of Otaku are the famous "Idols". The fashion of the Idols can be very sensational and often also older people are very attracted. The Idols are bands, groups of girls or boys that the media turn into real media phenomena that are venerated almost as gods.

The Akihabara electronic town is an important meeting point for the Otaku people. The roads are completely full of stores dedicated to manga, anime, idols, video games, etc.. Therefore dedicated strictly to the "Otaku world".

SunFlowers Selfie

The Japanese summer offers glimpses very beautiful as soon as you get far from the big cities like Tokyo. Here we are in a small town called Hokuto in the state of Yamanashi nearby the Fuji mountain. This area is also known for its beautiful fields of sunflowers which are an important tourist attraction.

A typical position of Asians.. is normal wandering the streets and meet people squatting in this way.
P.S. Honestly i don't know how can they do it... i resist 5 seconds maximum, then i can give up my knees and back. Surely is just a matter to get used, but i find it too bloody uncomfortable.
