An interesting day

A normal day around the city of Seoul, is turned into a succession of events.. interesting and funny. The daily goal was the visiting of the royal palace, but on the way something caught my attention. Before there was a stand where you could wear for free the typical clothes of Korean Emperor.. Ok, very touristic, but it was free, so why no?

HomeStay

An experience that i will surely remember are the two days spent in SaPa. A beautiful walk through the valleys covered by rice terraces of emerald green color, visiting small villages of huts inhabited by the Hmong. I spent the night hosted by a local family, sleeping in a hut and drinking in company of an elderly local. Great hospitality and atmosphere, which I tried to represent with this shot.

White Tricky Smile

This is one of the boatmen of the shipyard in Sadarghat. Once I arrived here I was approached by a man at the entrance.. supposedly nothing strange. This people are famous for their hospitality and there is always someone who wants to have a chat. This time there was something different and I've noticed it immediately.

Photo Cliché

Welcome (again) to the Taj Mahal... the playground for tourists. The magnificent structure (and the sad story that is behind) is a big tourist attraction in India. I often thought about whether to come or not, but being on the way to Delhi, I've chosen to stay a couple of days in Agra, to see with my own eyes what is considered one of the wonders of the world.

In my trip to the Thar desert I had the opportunity to visit some of the villages Gipsy. What to say of these villages? definitely interesting to see how these people live in very difficult circumstances.

Tea Time

During a walk through the mountains of Munnar we met women workers of the tea plantations. When we arrived they had just started a small break of 20 minutes. In the tea plantations of India and Sri Lanka (Munnar included), 90% of workers are from the state of Tamil Nadu, known to be hard workers.

Laud Festival

A chaotic, laud, colorful and beautiful Festival nearby Varkala. In the picture, the musicians were dancing and playing, spending all the last energies left. This was the final part of the morning festival, before starting again at night.

Color Feast

Another shot from the Holi Festival. During the party in Pushkar, the t-shirt was an optional extra... you had to take it off otherwise they would have literally tore it off, reducing it to shreds and throwing it into the air... this is what happened to me too.
