The crowd, especially during rush hours, is impressive and the two huge rooms with a capacity total of more or less 500 people, are not enough to handle the huge flow of hungry people. Once finished your meal and left the mess hall, there will be a large crowd sitting to wait is own turn, right outside the door. Crowd held back by the controllers on duty, that work to stop them behind a certain limit avoiding chaos. I often found myself in this hungry crowd, sitting on the floor with my plate and cutlery, waiting for about ten minutes.. and practically all cramped and close to each other, a human carpet where there is almost not even more room to walk.
The atmosphere however is always cheerful and people joke and have fun, but always aware if the stop is removed, ready for a sprint to the mess hall through a small door. You have to take the best seats, and for this you have to push and struggle a little.
