The Holi Festival is an annual Hindu festival to wish a happy and prosperous year. The color is synonymous of happiness and everybody in town is colored from head to toe..

There are more different ways of celebration, but basically where ever you go all the people will paint you with all bright colors until not even an inch of your body looks untouched. The way the locals celebrate this event is also dancing together on the streets to the rhythm of music (a mix of Indian and trans music). The duration of the festival depends on the location. In a big city like Jaipur the festival lasted just few hours, instead in smaller places like Pushkar, the celebrations can endure up to a week.
