This is a temple in the heart of McLeod Ganj where hundreds of people... normally Buddhists, come every day to turn these wheels reciting prayers. The writing that you can see on the wheels are the words of a prayer. Apparently turning the wheels (rigorously Clockwise) is like bring to life these sacred words... for beliefs this is a very important daily habit.

This is a small mountain village near the Himalayas. Manali is divided in two between the old and the new city. Forget about New Manali, just a tourist center with shops (not interesting) and expensive restaurants.

The working conditions in India are not the safest. These men worked without a helmet and with thongs climbed up a high voltage pylon, heedless of danger.
